Middle Tennessee Visits Southern Ontario
January 13, 2009
Toronto

Led by Mayor Karl Dean of the City of Nashville, the Nashville Chamber of Commerce coordinated a mission of 16 delegates to the Greater Toronto Area to meet with corporate decision makers to discuss two way trade and profitable business opportunities awaiting Canadian growth companies in the State of Tennessee. Currently there are over 77 Canadian companies that are finding Tennessee's diverse economy a most profitable experience.

While visiting the Greater Toronto Area, the Nashville Area Mission participated in a briefing organized by the Ontario Chapter of Amcham Canada and led by U.S Consul General John R. Nay and included Jeffrey Brown of KPMG LLP. The delegation met with government and business leaders during the visit and had discussions with businesses such as Metrican Stamping and Cinram that have operations in Middle Tennessee.

The Nashville Chamber of Commerce is a member of the Ontario Chapter of AmCham Canada.
