Toronto Dinner for the Governor of West Virginia
October 16, 2007
Intercontinental Hotel

On October 16, 2007, the U.S. Consulate and AmCham Canada hosted a roundtable business dinner for the Governor of West Virginia, Joe Manchin III, at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Toronto. The main topic of discussion was the energy and clean tech sectors. Representatives from these sectors in West Virginia met their counterparts from Ontario.

It was a productive and informative discussion, and the representatives from various Canadian businesses who attended made excellent contacts with the West Virginia delegation.  AmCham Canada President Robert Bathgate attended and welcomed the Governor on behalf of AmCham Canada.  The event was sponsored by Livingston International Inc. who was represented at the event by Larry Hahn.

Martin Z. Rosenbaum, Vice-Chair of the Ontario Chapter, AmCham Canada and Partner at Fogler, Rubinoff LLP, was the MC for the event.
